Here is a photo of one of my latest Baskets of Flowers hope you like it.

The Flowers are real and artificial – the real ones are Geraldton Wax and Lantana with some Palm Leaves at the back, the Roses are the Artificial Flowers but they make the arrangement look very real.

So you can easily make a Basket of Flowers by choosing a nice Basket (not too large) then use some (Wet Oasis) in a plastic bag – so that water does not come into your basket.  If you do not have any Wet Oasis the use a suitable vase to hold water that will fit into your basket.

Arrange your Flowers with some tall leaves at the back (no need for Palm Leaves) some nice ones from a hedge or young branches from a tree will be great.  Then next put the tallest flowers in so that you have a nice background and  build up with the smaller ones coming to the front.

Sometimes if you have not got enough flowers put some artificial ones in to make a nice show. 

There you are then…..that could be a nice project for yourself as a table arrangement or to give as a gift to a friend for a special occasion.
