The above is a photo of a Thistle….what do you think, is it good or not good to have in your garden?

You may or may not know that the Thistle is the National Emblem for Scotland in the United Kingdom.

People can be like Thistle’s……. They can be beautiful but be very prickly. Are you a prickly Thistle or just a beautiful person getting on with your life and not hurting anyone?

Thistle’s are lovely until you try to touch them, because they have very prickly spikes. So best to pick them with your gardening gloves on.

Sometime they can grow like weeds in the garden if they are not looked after.

The thing is – are you a prickly person – a person that others have to watch what they say around you – or are you a happy generous person who like to help others?

Here is a Recipe you may like to try;

Garlic Sausage  Rolls.

1pkt.– Sausagemeat; 1pkt-Puff or Shortcrust Pastry; 3or4cloves– Garlic; Pepper & Salt.

Chop Garlic finely, mix into the Sausagemeat.

Wet hands and fashion some into sausage shape, lay onto pastry sheet, roll pastry over sausage meat, wet edge of pastry with milk to stick pastry together. Cut along pastry to separate from rest of the sheet. Cut into what ever size you would like your sausage rolls to be. Continue in this way till all are ready.

Put onto flat baking tin, prick with fork, brush with milk, sprinkle with Garlic Powder, Salt & Pepper.

Cook until golden brown and meat inside is cooked.
