Very pretty Basket of Flowers sitting on my outside settee. They are mixed blossoms, some from my garden and some are artifiial but they make a lovely display.

Well – what about Friday? – so a good idea is to make up a basket or vase of flowers for yourself to look at indoors for the weekend. Or maybe give a gift of flowers to give to a friend. Just a few from the garden with some leaves would make a lovely arrangement. Alfoil is nice to wrap around the stems to make a bunch look more special. If you are going to a friends for tea or coffee it is lovely to take a small posy for your hostess.

Fish for Friday is a nice idea, so that once a week you would be getting a fish dinner, because as we all know fish is very good for us and most times we forget to eat it.There are several ways to cook it but best to cook the way you especially like it. However here is one way to try.

Fish Nuggets:

A nice piece of white Cod or similar fish. Cut into dice about one inch squares.

Put flour into kitchen bag with a sprinkling of white pepper, sprinking of garlic, small pinch of turmeric. Then add the diced fish and shake around in the bag till all are coated.

Cook in a small amount of your favourite oil in a frying pan, turning over so all get a nice brown colour and cooked. They do not take long to cook in the hot oil.
