Here is a lovely Basket of Flowers

There are Freshly picked ones added to some Artificial looking Roses, ready to take to Church for our Sunday Service.

Flowers add a special touch where ever they are put for people to look at and admire.  You can always make up a special vase for your kitchen or lounge room to add a bit of something special for yourself to look at for a few days or for the coming week.  Friends will always admire your creation or display and maybe you will encourage someone to do like wise.  We have Geraldton Wax flowers in the above plus some Lantana and a few odd leaves complete the arrangement.  The are put into Wet Oasis in a container to hold the shape of the display.

Time to have a Recipe now:  What about Tomatoes then? 

This is the time of our Growing Season and Tomatoes are growing well – so what to do with them?  Well here is one nice way to use them which is very tasty and not difficult to make.

Baked Tomatoes

Ingredients:

Tomatoes: plus – Dried Mixed Herbs or  Dried Basil; White Pepper: Ground Garlic; Olive Oil.

Method:

Cut Tomatoes in half.  Lay Cut side up on Oiled Baking Sheet.  Sprinkle with Herbs,(I prefer the Basil), White Pepper & Garlic.  Drizzle the Olive Oil over.  Cook in hot oven till bubbling & cooked through.

Serve as Vegetable with Dinner or on Toast.

Or:

Can be cooked in Fry Pan then half way through cooking,turn the halved Tomatoes over to sizzle and finish.  You can put Tomatoes in when you fry your Bacon and add the Herbs as above.

Fragrant Rose:

Dear God I’m thinking of that flower. Ever fragrant in every hour.  The wonders of this Universe makes one want to write a verse.  The delicate softness of the petals against the hardness of different metals.

To touch a Rose is a wonderful thing.  Man made metals  –  no real pleasure bring.  But to touch and smell a dew fresh Rose is a pleasure few of us really knows.

To touch and feel your wonderful world, especially the Petals so curiously curled.  What a priceless treasure the Rose must be, I pray they’ll be there in eternity!
