Every Day is a new day for us to live and laugh and love and enjoy…. some days are not so good but life is what we make it. We need to get up each day to get on with the work we are meant to be doing. If we live alone or with a family we need to be pleased that we are alive to live another New Day.
Don’t let the wind blow away those thoughts and things that you need to do for today.
Remember Yesterday has gone and Tomorrow never comes so we have: TODAY……which is a New Day.
What are we going to do Today then? That is the question!
We all have to get up from our beds, get washed and dressed ready for the New Day….some of us like to pray first before we have our breakfast, others wait until later….and others do not think to pray but just get on with the daily chores to start with. However we all have a New Day each Day to do something with remembering that this New Day will never come again because then it will become Yesterday. How about that then?
Here is a link to one of my Books…hope you like it and can have a bit of fun with your family playing the game. It tells you inside the book how to play – you need at least two people. It is good to play in the car while driving to help keep the Driver alert and is a bit of fun for the passengers.
This is a book of Pen & Ink Drawings of Cats and is a Game for Young and Old to play together.
From the bible: Matthew: 24 verse 42. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
I Hope you have a Lovely Day Today.

The Title of this Blog is to be Content – but most of the time we know that we are not. I wonder why we feel discontented some days and not others? Sometimes it is the Weather that has an effect on us, especially if it is wet and gloomy or raining and we feel we cannot get out and do things that we would like to do outside. However if we start to think how good it is to have the rain it puts things into a better perspective for the day. We can then start to get on with things indoors, or even in the workplace that we are in.
If we are indoors with a young baby it is sometimes very difficult to enjoy things if we are feeling discontented with life. So we need to overcome, take time to rest and play. Begin afresh each day to be gentle and nice to the baby, the little life that depends on us for all it’s needs.
Although – if by any chance we are a Carer for someone, the same applies because that person depends on us and if we are discontent in our attitude towards them it will show up in the way that we talk or take care of them. So it is good to try to put on a happy face when caring for them. It will make all the difference to their day when they see that you do really care for them. Just to be content with them for a while is a great comfort to that person who is really in great need of our help.
Let us have a Recipe here:
Baked Tomatoes. Ingredients: Tomatoes; Basil or Dried Mixed Herbs; White Pepper; Olive Oil. Garlic Powder.
Method: Cut Tomatoes in half. Lay Cut side up on Oiled Baking Sheet. Sprinkle with Herbs, Pepper & Garlic. Drizzle the Olive Oil over. Cook in hot oven till bubbling & cooked through. Serve as Vegetable with Dinner. Or on Toast. Very Tasty.!!!
You will find the above Recipe in my Book: ‘Carnarvon Favourite Recipes’ available as an e-Book from the Link below.
Philippians: 4 v 11. says: I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
