The Title of this Blog is to be Content – but most of the time we know that we are not. I wonder why we feel discontented some days and not others? Sometimes it is the Weather that has an effect on us, especially if it is wet and gloomy or raining and we feel we cannot get out and do things that we would like to do outside. However if we start to think how good it is to have the rain it puts things into a better perspective for the day. We can then start to get on with things indoors, or even in the workplace that we are in.
If we are indoors with a young baby it is sometimes very difficult to enjoy things if we are feeling discontented with life. So we need to overcome, take time to rest and play. Begin afresh each day to be gentle and nice to the baby, the little life that depends on us for all it’s needs.
Although – if by any chance we are a Carer for someone, the same applies because that person depends on us and if we are discontent in our attitude towards them it will show up in the way that we talk or take care of them. So it is good to try to put on a happy face when caring for them. It will make all the difference to their day when they see that you do really care for them. Just to be content with them for a while is a great comfort to that person who is really in great need of our help.
Let us have a Recipe here:
