Why Judge?

These flowers look good on this old Cane Chair.

Ready to take to Church – they do look comforatble just sitting there. I think the Geraldton Wax sets the Basket of Flowers off very well.

Well what to talk about today then?

Thought I would put this in to encourage anyone to eat a good meal, even at lunch time instead of just rushing to eat something quickly.

It is good just once in a while to choose something different to eat.

The other day I had a lovely lunch here is what I had:

Cream of Cauliflower Soup (Home made from the freezer) Just had to heat it up. Plus a Sausage sandwich. (Cold Sausage left from yesterday’s dinner)

I always toast the buttered bread on one side in the frying pan first, only had a small piece of sausage so I cut it up and put slices of sausage on one half side of the toast, then covered it with Horseradish sauce (to help clear up sinus?) made it into a small sandwich with the other half of the toast – very nice. !

Then had the other slice of toast with Blackcurrant Jam on and Coconut Cream on top.

That was my Gourmet lunch. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then I had to get on with an ‘Oil Painting’ for someone.

Do not judge, or you too will be judged.

One thing what I believe is that it is not a good idea to judge what others eat.

We are all different and all need to eat sometimes a bit different to each other. That is not to say that we should eat a lot of unhealthy foods…… or offer them to others who may have a special diet to follow for their health.

But how lovely to eat something that we really enjoy as an enjoyable treat.

So have something today that is special for you.

Have a special – Breakfast.

Have a special – Lunch.

Have a special –Dinner.

Maybe have something

special to share

with a friend.

“Flowers for the Altar”

Are we like Children

Lovely Basket of Flowers as a corner display.

It is nice to think that we do not have to always put a vase of flowers or a basket of flowers in the middle of the table. They can be very effective as you can see by sitting them in a corner maybe near a window.

I hope you have been having a good day today.

Well I did a silly thing today…...I took a pretty wrapped up chocolate out ot the fridge and as it was too hard to eat I put it in my pocket to warm it up.

An hour or so later I remembered it was there and surprise, surprise it had gone all soft.

It was a blessing that the wrapper was still around it and that I had not sat on it. So took it out and left it on the table to then harden up a bit.

When I went to eat it – I found out that it was one with melted chocolate on the inside of the round chocolate – which then spurted out of course……what a mess.!!!
The morel of this story is…...do not put a chocolate out of the cold fridge to warm up in your pocket and forget that it is there.

I must say that it still tasted very good, although I had to eat it standing over the sink and licked all I could get off of the wrapper as well. (We can’t waste these things you know)!

That’s my report for the day.

Well with my episode regarding the Chocolate it reminds me that we should have patience with our Children when they get all yucky eating their chocolate.

Remember that Jesus loves them and us when we seem to get in a mess with chocolate or with other things that happen in our daily lives.

A Brother

A Beautiful Basket of Flowers.

Two blossoms of Sleeping Hybiscus really helps to make the Basket of Flowers look very good.

The basket is sitting on our two seater settee, so that gives you the size of it.

With Geraldton Wax, Yellow Lantana flowers including the Dark Brown Leaves of…(Not sure what the name of that plant is) helps to make a pleasing display for our home or office.

I thought it would be nice to share some of our thoughts with our Brothers….. Brothers are precious…yes I know Sisters are precious as well but in the Bible Brothers stands for all our Brothers and Sisters.

Anyway I have three Brothers who are all special to me, also three Sisters equaly precious and they all know that I am a Christian but today I thought it nice for us all to maybe think about them today. Mine are in another Country and so memories are good to keep and also a few time during the year we like to keep in touch on the phone.

If you have not been in touch with your Brother or Sister for a while maybe it is a good time to think about it, just a word, a phone call or even a postcard to say ‘Hello’

I was able to phone one of my Brothers for his Birthday the other day, he was so pleased to hear my voice and told me that he has to have a heart operation. If I had not phoned it would have been quite a while before anyone would have thought to let me know. Now I can pray for his recovery.

I Hope you have a lovely day remembering or thinking about your Brother or Sister who maybe a long way away from you.

Time is now

Here is a lovely Basket of Flowers – Roses & Geraldton Wax

I thought we would start off with a Poem today especially as it is New Year Time. Which I hope will be a really excellent 2016 for all who finds this page to read.

It gives us really something to think about because all the things in the above Poem seem to be right. It is good to spend TIME to contemplate about TIME and what you yourself think about it.

The Days come and the Days go and there never seems to be enough TIME to do all the things we would like to do.

But God says not to worry about tomorrow as there is enough to think about today.

One good thing I believe – is not to put off till tomorrow what you can do today (that is the English way) but many people think it best to leave things for the next day hoping that someone else will do it for them. Well if they don’t it makes more work for the next day, what a blessing if we have already found TIME to do it.

Recipe:

Avocado on Toast

Slice Ripe Carnarvon Avocado onto Toast,

Sprinkle with Vinegar & Pepper.

Very nice for lunch with Salad or on it’s own.

To be Accepted

This is quite a nice arrangement of Dark Brown Leaves with colourful flowers.

It is nice to know that a lovely arrangement of flowers can be made using some leaves from your garden with just a few pretty flowers to make a nice display for your home of office.

Many people don’t always go to the trouble of having live flowers in doors because they are out working most days, however it is lovely to come home to see a beautiful flower or flowers waiting to greet you.

All the World is Waking

The Dark Brown Leaves really help to make this a lovely presentation of a Basket of Flowers.

There are Geraldton Wax & Bougainvillea Flowers included to give it a stunning effect.

Maybe today you may like to use some Leaves from your Garden or Hedge row if you have one – then add a few pretty flowers to show off the Leaves.

You do not need many leaves and you could be pleasently surprised at the end result.

Act Wisely

Here is a Basket of Flowers for today.

It is good to see a nice basket of flowers, even nicer to see our cat Harry sitting there.

He is not with us any more as he has gone to cat heaven. However he was a lovely cat very wise but shy and sometime affectionate.

As a token of his affection he would bring a mouse to the back door as a present, so I used to thank him, then leave him to enjoy his prey.

See my servant will act wisely, he will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted.

That is what Isaiah: Chapter 52 verse 13 says – in the Bible.

So when you think of it – Harry cat was acting wisely in catching his prey and bringing it as a gift to us.

Maybe we should act more wisely as we go about our daily tasks, then hopefully The Lord will lift us up. As servants of the living God it is a privilege to be able to do things for Him, to bring our gifts of obedience to Him, is something special.

These are the days of our lives today, tomorrow, yesterday.

What are we doing with them? where are we now,

where have we been, where will we go?

Some have been to the depths of despair.

Some to the height of glory.

Today is a new day, a time to begin.

Roses & Leaves

Here is a beautiful arrangement of Roses and Leaves from our Son’s garden ready to take to Church.

It is lovely when you can pick flowers and leaves from out of the garden and make a colourful display with them. Sometimes there may not be many flowers growing in your garden but if you fill the pot or put them in the oasis to make an arrangement it is surprising what difference the coloured leaves make with just a few flowers.

I think there were only four Roses in the above photo and the rest were beautiful leaves, plus a gold ribbon tucked in with the basket of Flowers.

This is the Day

This is the Day that the Lord has made.

Come He say’s don’t be afraid.

Laugh and play, sing and pray.

Why not have a glorious day!
