Christmas – Time to Remember

Christmas is a time to Remember why we celebrate –

The Birth of Jesus.

  FlwrsSeat

Matthew: Chapter 1 verse 18.

This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about:

His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph but before they came together,

she was found to be with child through

The Holy Spirit.

***

Mary must have been a beautiful young woman spiritually to be so obedient to God saying yes to what He asked of her.  How many of us can truly say that we are obedient to submit ourselves to the ways of The LORD?

Dear LORD God I pray today that I may be more obedient to your voice and not to my own wants.  In being obedient to you I know  that you will be blessing me even more than I can ever imagine.

Thank you for Mary the Mother of my Saviour –

 –  Jesus Christ my Lord.  Amen.

Daffodil’s

“Oil” Painting for my Mother’s 85th. Birthday

We don’t see may Daffodil’s here in Western Australia but in England we had a lovely large garden bed full of beautiful Daffodil’s.

Plus other flowers of the Daffodil family.

These flowers grow in grace, standing tall and beautiful with trumpet like petals.

We also should try to stand tall and grow in grace day by day.

2 Peter: Chapter 3 verse 18

Grow in grace and in the knowledge of

our Lord and Saviour.

Let us try to stand tall each day, let us not give in to negative thoughts and things that come against us each day.

Remember today is a new day to do something nice for ourselves or for someone else.  It makes a lot of difference to others if we can smile and say ‘hello’

Hope you have a lovely day today.

Psalm 142 verse 7

Set me free from my prison,

that I may praise your name.

Then the righteous will gather about me

because of your goodness to me.

…..

How often do we cry  –  set me free God from this place that I am in.  One day I said to The LORD, “what is the point of all this I feel as if I am in a prison?”

Then the gentle voice of The Holy Spirit said  –  “and what did the disciples do when they were in prison?”

Do you know what they did?  –  They sung songs of praise!!!

Look around and see what a beautiful prison you may be in, count your blessings then begin to sing.

Praise The LORD, let us today not to ask to be set free, because, in the spirit we are free indeed.  Amen.

In the spirit as Christians we are set free, to soar with the Eagle on wings of praise.

Eagle Flying

Just imagine being able to fly over Land & Sea like an Eagle.

Well – when you close your eyes and pray you too can soar like the Eagle.

Pray in the Spirit for your family, friends, workmates, your town, your Country.

Remember to also Pray for yourself.

God Loves you and needs to hear your Prayers whether out loud or silently in your heart.

I Pray  that Jesus is your Lord and Saviour.

* God Bless You *

Tree of Life

This was a plant in my garden.

Not much to say about this plant and never really knew it’s proper name.  However do you know that God knows our names?  This plant was a bit odd but I always liked it with its peculiar bell like flowers.

Psalm: 23 verse 3

He restores my soul, He guides me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

………

You may know Psalm 23 – it starts off with The Lord is my Shepherd.

It is a lovely Psalm you may like to read it afresh today.

I really do like the words in the older Bibles, (The King James version). I know they all mean the same but sometimes things get lost in the later translations that are written to be up to date with our reading.

Maybe I am a bit old fashioned but that does not matter really as God loves each one of us just as we are.

 Prayer is Powerful

Never Underestimate the Power of Prayer.

This is a Poem about Flowers I thought you may like it.

Poem Flowers for The Altar

*****

Sometimes it is nice to touch a flower or to smell the beautiful perfume, just imagine – however clever we are we cannot make even one single flower.    Yes, we can grow them but we are not able to make one that lives.

How does God do this?

We shall never know this side of Heaven.

It is incredible that they are made for our pleasure.

If you have no garden you may be able to treat yourself  –  to purchase a small flowering plant in a pot to  put for a while in your lounge room.

I hope you have a lovely day today.

GOD BLESS YOU

Whether you are a new or mature Christian, I pray that God will bless you as you read from these pages.

It is good to learn more of God’s Word day by day.

From Bk Cover

A Bible Quote will be put on most pages or posts of this Blog, with a photograph of some of God’s flowers in various arrangements.  Nearly all were ready to be taken to Church and put on the Altar.

Flowers are a Blessing from God

and can give much pleasure to many people.

Sometimes it is good to give a flower to a person to take home after the Service.  Many have appreciated this small gesture, especially if they are feeling ill, recovering from an illness, or visiting the Church whilst on Holiday.  Or give to a member of the Congregation for them to have a Happy Day!   If possible let them choose their favourite Rose or Bloom to take with them as a Gift for the day.  It is far better to give  –  than leaving them in an empty Church for the week.

I pray that you, yourself, will find time to look and see the flowers around you, the beautiful colours, the lovely petals and shapes plus the wonderful perfume.

They are incredibly made.

Find time to Smell the Roses.

God Bless You.
