Runner Beans?

Fresh Picked Brown Leaves with Artificial Roses.

They look lovely in this display ready to take to Church.

Would also make a nice presentation in your home or office for a few days.

***

How about a Runner Bean Recipe:

Runner Beans, Garlic Powder, White Pepper, Oil.

***

Wash, trim, and cut the Runner Beans (the way you like them). Put in a Microwave dish. Sprinkle with the Garlic Powder and White Pepper. Then drizzle small amount of your favourite Oil over. Shake it all about and cover to put in Microwave oven for about two minutes on high, or until they are cooked to your liking.

This is a quick and easy way to cook the Runner Beans and they taste really good. Remember do not add any water when you cook them this way.

  Poem: What is Time?

What is time? Time is to live. Time to die. Time to forgive.

Time to try. Time to laugh. Time to cry. Time to sleep.

Time to sigh. Time to eat. Time to sing. Time to pray.

Yes the time is now. To pray and praise God.

Any time is the right time, to Praise The Lord.

Time belongs to God. Time is Eternal

Time is forever. Time timeless. Time is Time past & present

Here and now. Time waits for no one

Time is all around us. Time quiet. Time you cannot hear

Time can heal. Time you cannot feel. Time you cannot see.

Time is like the wind. Time is ever present. Time has gone

Time is yet to be. Time is NOW.

Flapjack Cookies?

* Just a simple Basket of Flowers today *

With Bougainvillea and some yellow Lantana.

*

Sometimes you only need a few cuttings of flowers with some leaves from the garden to make a lovely arrangement.

I hope you can find some kind of flower from your garden or maybe purchase some from the shop – to make a special arrangement for your kitchen or lounge room.

It is amazing how flowers can lift the spirit  and we can receive some joy from their perfume also from their presence in our home.

Even one flower or a couple of small cuttings of green leaves in a vase or glass can be very nice.

In the kitchen if you put a sprig of Mint in a glass or other Herb that you specially like somewhere near the sink it is really nice to touch one of their leaves between your fingers and smell their particular perfume.  It can give you a lift in your spirit while washing up…..etc.,  Remember you can also eat one of the leaves off of your special Herb, they are very good for us.

Here is a tasty recipe:     (Have you ever made these)?

The Children will love them *

Flap Jacks:

6 oz-Butter or Margarine;  6 oz-Demerara Sugar; 8 oz-Rolled Oats; pinch of Salt.

Cream the Butter until soft. Mix together Sugar, Oats & Salt then Stir into the Fat.  Transfer the mixture to greased tin 9” by 12” and spread evenly. Bake for 30 mins. At Reg. 5. or 180 deg.  When cooked leave for a few minutes in the tin, then cut into squares or fingers.

*

Psalm: 133 verse 1

Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!

*

We can dwell in unity with each other and share a Flap Jack…….How about that then???????????

*

Thought you may like a Poem – so here we are:-

Pansy Flower ”

Hello, I am a Pansy Flower, with a face upon my Petals.

My face is full of colour – Purple, Red and Yellow.

You can see my face if you look quite closely.

My face looks to the sky.

Although I am beautiful I am really quite shy.

I hide among the taller plants, they are so high and lofty.

But I don’t mind a bit, because I’ll never – ever be lonely.

We usually grow in clusters you see, us dearest little ’Pansies’.

Children love to peer at us, they wonder if we can see them.

Yes of course we can.

We see the Sun, we feel the breeze, the lovely refreshing rain.

We love to grow in our little clumps and we cheer you up

if you feel down in the dumps.

I have no arms or legs you know but I have good strong

leggy roots.

So grow me in your garden beds or put me in a pot.

Just remember not to put me somewhere that is really too hot.

Remember I am your little Pansy friend

with a beautiful friendly face.  …

*Hope you have a lovely Day Today*

All Flowers are lovely Creations.

Look what a lovely Colour these Beautiful Flowers are.

These are the Flowers on a tree in my front garden.
However I am not sure what the tree is called.
Mostly when it is in full bloom all the leaves have dropped off.
The small green birds love to sip the nectar from inside the petals.

So today maybe the day is the day to pick or choose a red flower to put in a vase on your table or workspace. They really do brighten and cheer the room up ……… But…….. if you cannot find a red flower it is nice to put some other colour in, maybe with some green leaves to make a special show that will last for a few days to give pleasure to whoever will see them.

Just one Flower say’s – *Look at Me*

Perhaps we should have a Recipe – Here we are then:

We have lots of Lemons at the moment so thought this would be a good recipe to try.

You will find the above recipe in our Recipe e-Book available from the Link below.

“Carnarvon Favourite Recipes”

Here is a Poem for today:

I Just Remembered

I just remembered, did I forget to do that or – did I do it and forget that I did it?

I forget now but if I do it now and  I have already done it, that means that I would have done it twice.

Best if I don’t  do it now.  I may not have done it at all if I didn’t do it in the first place.

What a dilemma, why did I just think that I hadn’t done it, then think that maybe I had.

Well I remember thinking that I should but I wonder if I did.

The best thing is to go and look I suppose – – now what was it that I think I forgot to do.

I can’t remember now, best to have a Cuppa and think about it later.

*****

What about the Syrup Tart then?

Psalm: 3 verse 5. I lie down and sleep; I wake again, because The Lord sustains me. (This is from the Bible)

Sometimes we are like sheep that have gone astray – but it is nice to be back in the fold and enjoy our day.

If you would like to make donation it will be for our Church account and gratefully received via this Blog – (‘Baskets of Gods Flowers’) so that we can bless others. Thank you and Bless you for reading my Blog. I hope you have enjoyed reading it.
