Look what a lovely Colour these Beautiful Flowers are.
These are the Flowers on a tree in my front garden. However I am not sure what the tree is called. Mostly when it is in full bloom all the leaves have dropped off. The small green birds love to sip the nectar from inside the petals.
So today maybe the day is the day to pick or choose a red flower to put in a vase on your table or workspace. They really do brighten and cheer the room up ……… But…….. if you cannot find a red flower it is nice to put some other colour in, maybe with some green leaves to make a special show that will last for a few days to give pleasure to whoever will see them.

How about choosing to have Fish for dinner –
it is excellent protein for us and can be very tasty.
Here is a Pen & Ink Drawing that I did of a Fish.
Yes This is a Fish….not sure what sort though.
So what Fish do you like to eat?
I think I like most Fish really and find there are lots of ways to cook them.
The main Fish around here are ….North West Snapper, Black Snapper, Pink Snapper, Taylor, Mullet, Yellow Tail.. Also Crabs and Cray’s (Lobster)
Non edible Fish or Creature’s are: Dolphin, Sharks (the small Sharks are good to eat) Groupers, Blowies, Sea Snakes, Turtles and the usual small Sea Creatures that abound in most places like Star Fish, Jelly Fish, Stone Fish, Cuttle Fish. We have beautiful beaches that you can stand on the Shore to Fish from.
Our beaches can rival the best of anywhere in the world.
Here is a Recipe: – Salmon Mornay
415g,tin-Pink Salmon; 2cups-Cooked Long grain Rice; Cheese Sauce; Grated Cheese; White Pepper.
Method:
Spread the Cooked Rice into a Lamington Dish, Pile the Salmon on top of the Rice, Cover with your Favourite Cheese Sauce and Top with Grated Cheese. Sprinkle with the White Pepper.
Put into a hot oven until heated through and Cheese has melted.
Serve Hot.

Alternative:
Tuna can be used instead of Salmon.
Other tasty things to make with Fish are: – Fish Cakes, Fish Fingers, Prawn Cocktails, Fried Fish, Fish Curry (one of my favourites) Poached Fish and Grilled Fish.
So if you do not feel like cooking any of the above just buy some Fish & Chips ready cooked and you will still be getting a really good Fish Meal.

A Lovely Basket of Flowers to start off for the New Day.
Yes today is a New Day…. each day is different from the day before… so what are we going to do today? Let us have a think !
Perhaps we can do some cooking…… what would you like to cook today? Something different, something nice.. maybe a cake, maybe some rice, maybe a stew, let us have a look in the Recipe Book !
Well – here is a nice recipe for a Syrup Tart…. If you have never made this and you like something sweet it is very good. Can be eaten cold with Ice-cream or nice thick Cream or just on its own. Why not give it a go. It can be found on page 22 in our Recipe Book, which is available as an eBook. Will put the Link on here for you.
I just remembered, did I forget to do that or – did I do it and forget that I did it?
I forget now but if I do it now and I have already done it, that means that I would have done it twice.
Best if I don’t do it now. I may not have done it at all if I didn’t do it in the first place.
What a dilemma, why did I just think that I hadn’t done it, then think that maybe I had.
Well I remember thinking that I should but I wonder if I did.
The best thing is to go and look I suppose – – now what was it that I think I forgot to do.
I can’t remember now, best to have a Cuppa and think about it later.

Hibiscus that come over our fence from our Neighbours garden. They are just Beautiful – I use them sometimes in the Basket of Flower Arrangement that I take to Church.

Have you ever thought how beautiful Flowers are……
maybe today is a good day to put some in a vase or jar
to look at in your kitchen or lounge room.
They are a good talking point as well when you have any visitors
also they definitely brighten up any room.
Even One Single Flower looks great in a vase on its own.

you may like to make your own drawing of a Single Flower,
it is a good exercise for any of us who like painting or drawing.

– Here is a Recipe for you today: –
* Garlic Sausage Rolls *
1pkt. – Sausage meat; 1pkt-Puff or Shortcrust Pastry; 3 or 4 cloves-Garlic; Pepper & Salt.
Chop Garlic finely, mix into the Sausage meat.
Wet hands and fashion some into sausage shape, lay onto pastry sheet, roll pastry over sausage meat, wet edge of pastry with milk to stick pastry together. Cut along pastry to separate from rest of the sheet. Cut into what ever size you would like your sausage roll to be ………. Continue in this way till all are ready.
Put onto flat baking tin, prick with fork, brush with milk, sprinkle with Garlic Powder, Salt & Pepper.
Cook until golden brown and meat inside is cooked.

A Beautiful Basket of Flowers = an Arrangement for our Church.....The Geraldton Wax plus the Red and Yellow Carnations also the dark Brown Leaves add a lovely touch to the Artificial Flowers in this Basket of Flowers.

Instead of a Basket of Flowers here we have a tree blown into this shape by the constant wind in and around Geraldton N.W. Australia…..it is an Acrylic Painting that I did from one of my Photographs..
Every Day is a new day for us to live and laugh and love and enjoy…. some days are not so good but life is what we make it. We need to get up each day to get on with the work we are meant to be doing. If we live alone or with a family we need to be pleased that we are alive to live another New Day.
Don’t let the wind blow away those thoughts and things that you need to do for today.
Remember Yesterday has gone and Tomorrow never comes so we have: TODAY……which is a New Day.
What are we going to do Today then? That is the question!
We all have to get up from our beds, get washed and dressed ready for the New Day….some of us like to pray first before we have our breakfast, others wait until later….and others do not think to pray but just get on with the daily chores to start with. However we all have a New Day each Day to do something with remembering that this New Day will never come again because then it will become Yesterday. How about that then?
